Nearer My God and Heartbeats are probably my least favorites. My favorites are Grand Paradise, Five Cups, Won’t Drown, and Trapped in Dillard’s.

Five Cups is my song of the year by kind of a long shot

 

I should listen to this more.

 

Man I dont like five cups haha. One of the only songs on here that hasn’t been a favorite of mine yet

 

I absolutely love it haha. Those horn swells get me every time and “I want to drive with my eyes closed” hit a little too close to home when this came out.

 

5 cups is my fave off the album

I think Trapped in Dillard's is the one for me honestly, but title track has the fuckin' bridge of the year fersure

 

The only songs I don’t love are Bastardizer and Crown Candy

I still like both of them though

 

Not surprised. I destroyed the singles and subsequent album lol

 

That overlapping vocal melody in the chorus of “Five Cups” is so haunting. It makes me feel like I’m falling in slow motion.

 

Based on a 5-Cup rating, I give Five Cups 5 out of 5 cups.

 

5 cups is very easily my favorite song on this, and one of my favorites of the year for sure.

 

I’m not a huge fan of crown candy either

 

Crown Candy sounds like a Smidley track.

 

Probably why I don’t like it haha

 

Crown Candy is dope as hell. Every song is dope as hell. This album is dope as hell.

 

Backed. Crown candy was the biggest grower for me. Took a while to wrap my head what they were going for tonally
