Now that the weather is cooler certain tracks are starting to stand out more than they were before. Dealer is a crisp fall record through and through and I expected this one to grow even more when those temps dropped.

 

I'm so ready for fall. It's still 86 in Alabama.

 

50s all week here in Philly haha

 

Supposedly this is our last day in the 80s. Highs in the 60s and 70s for the foreseeable future after that. Excited for this and Pianos once there's a chill in the air.

 

It snowed all day in Eau Claire two days ago. Miserable. Fall has felt non-existent .

More importantly, I just realized Smidley is opening for mewithoutyou this tour. That's awesome. First time I caught Foxing was before mewithoutyou.

still can’t believe even how much better it is live

 

they should have layered in more screams on the album version so it could come closer to the intensity of the live version

 

I can't believe how good they are live. I still love the album but they elevated everything to a whole new level at their show.

 

This is pretty firmly my second favorite record of the year so far.

Now, Now will probably stay at the top. But this record still gets plays nearly everyday

 

Okay it is decided Heartbeats is the best & I'll gladly die on this hill

 

@Bad Frequencies now that you finally listened to dealer and liked it, maybe it’s time you give this another shot?

 

I have given it 3 shots. But I will give a fourth lol

No. I heard it two weeks ago for the first time. The last week or so has been repeats

 

Ahh gotcha! Yeah, I think you may connect with NMG after more listens - especially the tracks @teebs41 mentioned

 

I didn't connect with dealer so much like when it came out I thought it was okay but didn't put it in regular rotation but I like this album a lot and still need to give dealer more chances

 

That first part is how I feel about this album. I wish it wasn’t the case mainly so bachna and teebs would drop it

 

Lol yeah if it doesn't grab you it just doesn't! I'm still waiting for the 1975 to click for me because it's so up my alley but just doesn't connect or stick but I imagine it will one day. That's how my brain tends to work lol. You might end up loving the album but if you don't, I mean what can you do!
