Dude, right? The drums also sounded incredible. I really hope some more bands I like will go there. Parking is trash tho
seeing them tonight!! super excited/anxious, only other show i've been to this year was The Hotelier way back in Feb not sure if i'll even have enough cash for merch (esp since i wanna have something from all 3 bands tonight) might have to settle for one shirt since i can always get their stuff online w/o too much trouble. i'm also seeing Toe tomorrow, and i gotta go all out on their shit
Just looked it up and holy shit, they're playing Bottom of the Hill? That's gonna be fucking sick. I love that venue so much.
Missed that at bottom of the hill. Never gonna forgive myself for that. Did see Greta van Fleet tho. And that was treat.
they were so fucking incredible. this whole lineup was clutch. Conor was sick and he somehow still sounded excellent.
This entire album seems like a perfect embodiment of millennial angst. It's really good, but it also makes me uncomfortable. It's hard to listen to the entire thing.
I was at the Bottom of the Hill show too and it was incredible! I was lucky enough to 1) pick up a ticket last minute and 2) live walking distance from the venue. I am a newer fan of the band and was expecting it to be good but not... super great. Picked up the new record on vinyl at merch and it sounds phenomenal.
If anyone in PDX wants to go or knows someone who wants to go to the show tonight I have an extra ticket and will totally give it away for free cause it's just gonna go to waste. Have a good night everyone!!
wishing i could afford to get the tour press, but i already have the gold/bone splatter. wondering if i saw you there; i was the big nosed brown guy with the green jacket w/ lots of pins on it, lol
Haha I probably did see you? The place was so packed and I was a few beers deep though. Also that variant sounds sweet!
Had a pretty bad day today and this album (followed by dealer) with headphones is such a good way to end it. Solidifying it’s no.1 spot on my EOTY.
Don’t know if this was ever posted but here’s stripped down performances of Slapstick, Heartbeats, and Nearer My God. It’s real good.
