I was in the middle of preordering the 180g yesterday when I got pulled away. When I came back, it was sold out, except in a bundle, so I just paid the extra for the t-shirt and patch.
I know this record has been compared to like being the Harmlessness/Goodness or whatever but this album exceeds the limits of even what those records were striving for
There are a lot of moments on this record that remind me of instrumentation and structure used by the likes of Radiohead Bon Iver and M83 hell Gameshark is basically Foxing writing a track for Hail To The Thief
I’m not exaggerating at all - the title track is so inspired by Hurry Up We’re Dreaming it’s remarkable - an obvious big Smidley influence on this record too I’ll be validated in two months
