Skipping 5 cups is like having a chance to sip the holy grail and saying "Nah"

 

My favorite way to listen to the album is get to Gameshark, listen to it 10-40 times, and then proceed

 

Also the dissonant strings that appear in the second verse of Five Cups? What a cool decision

 

i listen to the album all the way through and then just repeat lambert 3-4 times before starting over

 

I've said it other threads for albums I love but one mark of an amazing album is being ready to hear the first song again as soon as the last song ends. I get that here everytime.

 

Whenever I finish this album I have a strong desire to play The National, but then just end up starting Grand Paradise over again.

 

I definitely get National vibes in some songs, Lambert specifically

 

I get National vibes for like thirty seconds in one song

 

beginning of Lambert is totes National

 

It appears I like Crown Candy alot more than most of you

 

Crown Candy is dope as hell

 

every song a banger

 

Yeah I can't say theres a song on here that would be a skip for me, which is A BIG RARITY

 

So is the Dan Ozzie podcast only 3 eps? I was thinking it was going to be like a full track by track

 

it seems like theres at least one more. maybe I should have been tweeting at 3crown instead though

I get some U2 vibes from Lambert

 

Yeah, Lambert is straight up Foxing channeling U2.

 

Never really paid huge attention to Foxing before (Had The Albatross but only listened to it a couple of times)

Really enjoying this new album, it has hooked me by being interesting rather than catchy (after a couple of listens nothing particularly sticks apart from maybe the title track and Bastardizer)

Looking forward to spending lots more time with it though - I can tell it's a good un'

 

I separated “Crown Candy” and I was right, it gets even better.

 

Listening to this album with Nuraphones was a religious experience

 

This is basically TVOTR meets Band of Horses and I love it.
