Dublin Monday night - coming for Foxing and Kamikaze Girls, staying for Pianos Become the Teeth on whom I remain mixed but have heard good things about their live set.
Bet you end up shaking in a Taco Bell parking lot on first listen, that's the theme of this thread it seems
reviewing the whole-ass rock show on Monday. Pianos play nothing off their first two records I assume?
my phone died right when i was about to hit play on this album again and it put me in a really pissy mood
I could've booked flights to see the foxing/pianos show in bristol and now I am fucking crying blood that I didn't
I'm not wholly sure how I feel about this album yet, but it sounds like what Radiohead's fifth or sixth album might have been if they'd cut their teeth on punk instead of grunge.
This album is blowing me away. Random side note: "Heartbeats" reminded me that As Tall As Lions was a band, and a very good band at that. I'm gonna listen to You Can't Take It With You after this.
i would assume they are still playing one or two off TLLA when i saw them in feb we got i’ll be damned and good times thrown into the mix
I'm pretty sure the oldest song pianos did on the tour with The World Is was Hiding, so yeah only the two new records. Maybe 1 older song if lucky.
Alright, my faves from this record in no particular order: Lambert Grand Paradise Heartbeats Five Cups Won't Drown Slapstick And to add one more thing, I can't stop listening to this record unless I hear "Lambert" at least twice.
Pretty sure I've done this earlier in the thread but I cannot express how much I love these songs enough So here's my list Psyche it's the whole fuckin record
