Holy shit. That’s the most wild thing I’ve heard all year, except maybe the SOPHIE album.

Gave all the singles a listen on my good headphones and I knew the production was good before but wow this is a whole new level. Reminds me of Jack Antonoff in the way that he packs a ton of sounds and little pieces into each song to really make it feel full.

 

Should be interesting to see if this is too weird for anyone, def goes off but in a very different way than bands in this genre usually do. Vocals are fantastic, not easy to sing with that much emotion in your falsetto.

 

Also, it’s funny the night I go see Radiohead foxing releases their most Radiohead esq song

 

GAMESHARK IS PHENOMENAL

I haven't felt drawn in to the other singles, this one rules though. Totally unexpected

This was pretty good, didn't love it though. Reminds me of some old Portugal. The Man and a mix of Daisy. I much prefer "Nearer My God" for sure.

 

All bands should get wild and weird

 

I don't like it as much as the first two thus far, specially NMG which is quite sincerely my favourite song they've ever done and of the year so far. having said that Gameshark is the kind of song that might suddenly hit hard 3-4 listens in

 

Gameshark is pretty crazy, gonna take a few listens to sink in, after being hyped up as the heaviest song, I was expecting it to end with something a little louder, but it's certainly one of their weirdest and most wild songs so far, but, i don't know if i'd call it the heaviest song in their discography. the screaming on Bit by Dead Bee Pt 1 i feel goes more intense than this song does at any point.

 

@Justin Roux are we getting up at 5 tomorrow or is there pretty much no way that there is a stream?

 

Holy fucking shit Gameshark is immense. Not as heavy as I was expecting but it just explodes at all the right moments

 

Yeah I’m gonna say no, unless they tease anything else today. I’d say there’s still the possibility of Monday though!!

 

I really appreciate when bands make different artwork for each single, and they aren’t the actual album art.
