Dealer was my first foxing album after it got recommended to me during my Keep You obsession. It took a solid year for the album to click with me but these singles have been instant for me. Much bigger sound for the band and I think it's going to be huge for then
I never listened to this band until I listened to Nearer My God last night (it was late and I should have gone to bed) and then I had a spiritual experience and listened to it like 6 more times after that. Oh my goodness
I dig The Albatross and Dealer, but these two new songs are something else. I loved "Slapstick" and now I'm somehow loving this song even more. Also, just noticed the 9 minute song sitting at track 6 on the album. Not sure how many times I've seen that. Psyched.
I love Dealer, but it's only good in certain situations. Cold weather, and/or night listening. Unfortunately I live in Alabama and it's not very cold often, so it's a night album for me.
I love dealer but I need to be in the depths of winter with a strong drink in low light to be able to hack listening to it, it's such a powerful album that I find needs a certain time and place. I feel like this one is gonna be a lot easier to listen to generally from the singles but I could be very wrong
It's all 5 language versions of Nearer My God, Slapstick and two 14 minute songs as the opener and closer.
The anticipation between this and ShenmueHD is killing me! I wish I could just freeze myself like Cartman
I'm seeing them on the 9th with Pianos Become the Teeth and then on the 10th with Pianos Become the Teeth
Does anyone else think the highest pitch "siren" sound on Nearer My God sounds awfully similar to the "siren" sound in the chorus of Love It If We Made It?
