Just realized the plant he kneels down by at the end of the video is the same one from the Slapstick video. Wonder how big of a “concept album” this is gonna be
don't like this song NEARLY (my god) as much as the rest of you but it's pretty good! this album's def gonna be fire
Song is so powerful and beautiful. Love how many layers there are to both songs. Also Apple music has all five versions as separate singles
I've got it all I feel the love in suspension And nearer my god At hallowed ground, holding hands Ashing cigarettes on gravestones Pin photographs on cork bords Unfollowing my dead friends Someone's gonna love me
There really is just so much emotion packed into three minutes. You can feel every drop of desperation and hurt in his voice it’s ridiculous. And the line “unfollowing my dead friends” cuts DEEP.
I think Slapstick is the more interesting/cooler song, but this ones been stuck in my head for 24+ hours. I think they accomplish different things.
This is way better than Slapstick, and Slapstick is fucking amazing. This album is gonna be something else
I like it a bit less than some of the more complex songs on their previous release but there's no denying how immediate and powerful the song is. This could definitely move them into a different level of popularity
I really like this band but my problem with this song is it makes me not want to listen to any other Foxing tracks because it's so fucking good
