prawn and little big league were on that tour too, so sad i never got to see LBL :( prawn guys went to lift up conor while he was playing trumpet at the end of rory, that was a wild experience
missing that tour with the Hotelier, prawn, and little big league is one of my biggest missed tour regrets. i didn't have my license at the time :/
Start a petition to get these bands back on the road together? Also I don’t find myself going back to the last prawn much... unfortunately. Maybe I’ll try it again soon.
yeah that record isn't great, coming from one of my favorite bands oh i'd also put kingfisher over both foxing albums sorry m8s
yeah I must've been 17 then, I got my license hella late and being in Atlanta still scared me then too
I agree. Kingfisher is one of my favorite records of all time so I was pretty let down by Run. North Lynx is still fucking awesome though.
bring back LBL yeah I haven't come back to it a ton but less bc I was underwhelmed and more bc i have been keeping up with new stuff a little less and delving backwards into other genres a bit more
In 2014 I was still in my 20s.. simpler times Yea there’s good stuff on there, I think the album blended together a bit though. The ballads on the record are fantastic, wish there was more of that.
Super late to the vinyl discussion but sound quality aside, white vinyl catches my eye a lot more. Vinyl is one of the few places where I usually prefer buying white versions over black. That said I’m super excited for this.
I don't like the last two songs on Albatross at all, if it ended with Den Mother (which is my favourite song they've put out) it would probably be their best. as is though, Dealer all the way
