I’d like to see weave but since it wasn’t played at either Chicago show I’m not counting on it. Good chance we get lambert and bastardizer tho so I’ll live

They were great last night. Hall of Frozen Heads always gets me emotional, and seeing it last night in the context of the show was no exception.

Very excited to see them again tonight.

Also, as others have said, they made it extremely clear this is a hiatus, not the end. So that’s encouraging.

 

Watched the entire draw down the moon live release last night. Just to try to fit in. (It’s so good.)

 

Weave would rule but I have gotten it live as recently as I think 2023

 

I’ve definitely seen it a number of times but it’s my favorite song by them

 

Also as of right now they’re my most seen live band and after tonight it’ll be 10 times if I’m counting correctly

 

I haven’t been to the pageant since like 2022, do they still have the stupid ass tables surrounding the pit area?

can only imagine how powerful watching hall of frozen heads must be at these shows, that song just destroys me

 

So jealous of everybody that can be there tonight. I hope these guys get some rest but aren't gone too long.

 

Honestly comparing what Conor and Eric said last night about the band with how they were talking last time I saw them about a year ago, I’m actually more optimistic now that Foxing will be a thing that exists in 5-10 years. I actually wonder if the break has been in the works for awhile.

 

I saw somewhere it was about a year ago they decided on it

 

On the cruise they said that Coheed basically kept them together for the last year. That coupled with Conor interview above where he said last Christmas they were discussing it you would have to think it's been planned since at least then. The Coheed tour was announced in January so they probably said let's do this big tour and some others and then take a break. They also fit in their ONLY tour of Japan in the spring which I'm sure was something they wanted to accomplish before taking the break. Definitely feel like it's been planned though.

Plus the lyrics to Cry Baby if you want to read into those as well as some others that he has written about how much he loves his wife. Feels inevitable.

 

Oh yeah a lot of the lyrics on self titled kind of pointed to this inevitability

 

First band was great. Legit so excited to see Greet Death again haha
