I lived in three pretty different locations that were all about 6 hours from St. Louis before I moved here. Not close to anything but not that far either, that about sums it up.
Literally all their singles off the forthcoming record but especially Ain't That A Daisy?, Monsieur Hawkweed and Old Faithful, then go back to Ferried Away from last year. Shares similar DNA with Foxing over these two records, all over the place musically and I reckon fans of this band will find a bunch of stuff to latch on to!
bummer to hear. Honestly haven't gone back to ST a lot just because of how heavy it is. Popping on now, still real good stuff!
If this year has taught me anything, they will be back. It's a bummer but I'd rather these guys do what they need to do to be healthy. We weren't just going to get moving mountains back without something in exchange.
I do hope that they do what they need to for themselves, but I also selfishly hope we get to hear more of Smidley and Eric's solo stuff in the meantime.
I hope Eric does more production work too. Dude is insanely talented, if that is the avenue he decides to pursue.
i live in new england. 18 hour drive is unfortunately not in the cards for me. i wish everyone that can go the time of their lives
I need to confess something. It’s not actually 8 hours from me. It’s 8 hours and 7 mins. I won’t let this happen again. Also it’s official, my buddy and I are making the trip!
Gonna be in Chicago for Lawrence arms holiday shows the same weekend they’re there. But same night as hot mulligan which seems like a big L for them hopefully does well
Chicago is a pretty big city and I think Foxing will probably be able to sell tickets to their second to last show even though there’s another band playing a show in Chicago that night
Going to try to get a ticket for Foxing and sell my Hot Mulligan ticket, and then maybe catch Hot Mulligan on their second night in Chciago
