  2. Honestly completely understand how they feel and a hiatus absolutely feels needed/justified. I hope they can take the time to just be friends and feel as normal as possible without the burden of being FOXING looming over them. I have a feeling they'll be back.

I’ve been listening to their S/T a ton too. I had put it down for a while after playing it a lot when it released, and now I’ve been spinning it once or twice a week. Absolutely phenomenal stuff.

  4. I hate to hear this. their body of work is really substantial and I'm glad we have it. the last album really sounds like how it feels to be alive right now. hope they find some peace

maybe this time, I won't be alright Supporter

Just feels like they're burnt out on the band and it happens too often to be worthwhile anymore, at least for now. Can't say I like it but at least I get it.

Oh no! This is a. Unmet, but glad they are going out on their own terms and have been able to make such great art over all these years.

Here's a live board video they posted on their patreon a few years ago now. Great quality (Video not).
(They are making their patreon free now BTW)

Feel incredibly lucky for all the times I was able to see them live. I hope this isn't the end, but if it is, they definitely went out on a high note.

they've been my favorite active band for probably 10 years now. Fortunate to have seen them several times since I'm from STL and live in Chicago. Cannot stress the impact their music has had on my life.

I will be in StL and Chicago to rip it with them two more times, hopefully not the last.

Man, love this band so its a very sad day

if I had known they were going on hiatus I would've maybe gone to the Coheed/TBS tour. Grateful I got to see them last year touring these newer songs.

Six for me to Chicago. Will be there assuming I can get tickets. Three Foxing shows in one year? Awesome. Likely last time seeing Foxing? Not awesome. It's bringing back memories of the final year of mwY.

Seems like they kinda were hitting a ceiling in terms of success, it’s a shame but not super shocking. Best of luck to them

They belong in the pantheon of greatest bands to come out of this scene/niche. Truly incredible and brought genuine change to every album

  25. I'm about an 8 hour walk from a show, does that count?

Probably going to Chicago, especially if it's also the Chicago show that Empire! Empire! mentioned but couldn't announce a while back.
