Greyhound has been absolutely ruling my brain the last few days what a song

 

I think it's more about how the album makes me feel than actually sounding similar sonically, but for some reason Circa Survive's Violent Waves keeps coming to mind. Could be the color palette in both album's artwork, or the hopelessness that seems pervasive through both albums.

I wish I was a Violent Waves fan. I remember it being incredibly disappointing after BSN. One day it’ll click for me

 

love Violent Waves i regret not picking up the band's themed collaboration with Macbeth Footwear when that album dropped.

 

i have been scouring youtube every couple of days for videos of this tour and there are literally none except for like 2-3 clips from detroit. what the fuck lol.

however in my search i found a live video of won't drown that i didn't know existed and how could i forget that that is actually the best song i have ever heard

 

Conor was wearing a Waxahatchee Tiger's Blood shirt at the St. Paul show which I love considering it's so different than Foxing's record yet also one of my albums of the year.

 

I'm catching them on the 26th and i'm mildly concerned Eric won't be able to sing

Yeah I've noticed this across the board. Not only do new vids really not exist, but old ones I've had bookmarked for years are long gone. Lots of stuff ends up on tiktok, like 30 seconds of a song. End of era I suppose.

 

On the flip side of that tho I’ve found a couple of solid tik tok accounts that post a bunch of archived footage of 90’s/00’s post hardcore and indie acts

 

Watching the whole band in general is always a treat but Eric is so much fun to watch. Always has all the energy. Meanwhile I was out there doing stretches before doors opened just to be able to stand for a few hours without my back going out
