the "that's a good boy" at the end of Hall hits like a goddamn train knowing what a lot of this album is about

 

Utterly ridiculous in the best way possible.

This band knows how to open a fucking record. It’s every time with these guys

Been going through their discog since Wednesday. Fuck Glass Coughs is still an absolutely perfect song.

 

Dealer is so underrated

 

If nothing else this album is absolutely immense. Knocked it out of the damn park on the production. Early favourites have to be Secret History, Kentucky McDonalds, Gratitude and Dead Internet.

 

I feel very lucky to have watched this band grow and evolve and fucking rule since the albatross

 

Lmao this is insanely good. I don’t know how they keep doing it.

the second half of this album is something else man

 

I’m so excited to have a 2.5 hour drive home later today so I can get a couple dedicated listens to this thing under my belt. Passively listening as I can this morning so no real thoughts, but I am excited to have a 13 minute, 56 minute album where I only listened to two songs pre-release.

 

Looks like nothing might be the best song on here IMO

 

I only listened to Greyhound once and the opening 1-2 punch blew my balls off

 

About to start my commute and put this on. Can’t fucking wait and I wasn’t aware this was 56 min! Love it

 

I only got halfway through this morning but damn this band is special

 

I knew just by the title that “Kentucky McDonalds” would be sick. It is.

Yep. They straight-up have not missed, and that includes DDTM. Very special band.

 

The one two punch of Looks Like Nothing and Gratitude is something else. Listened on my commute this morning and I can’t wait to give it my undivided attention later. It’s like a messier, darker Nearer My God in all the best ways. What a special band.
