So far I think "hell 99" rules and the other two are just OK

I've been quiet because I don't want to keep teasing things if it's annoying, but imo if you want to listen to something similar to tide you over for the next week and a half, I'd suggest Crime in Stereo's I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone. Obviously the vocals are very different and Foxing is not a post-hardcore band, but in terms of experimentation and song structure, the way songs evolve between harsher sounds/noise into melodic pieces, I actually think they're somewhat similar progressions for each artist. I also just adore that album though and think it deserves more love, so take this all with a grain of salt I suppose

 

I don’t know the first thing about crime in stereo but that album title alone makes me want to check them out. So good.

Their recent comeback album is very good as well! But a little less in line with this.

 

They were the last concert I saw, and if that is any indication of this upcoming album, I might not be able to handle it

I'm down to mention CIS in every thread whether the comparison fits or not. I Was Trying... is an all time great (underappreciated) album

 

Their last album is one of my favorite albums ever and somehow seems like this one will be better? I regret missing them a couple years ago. I had tickets and everything but I was so depressed I couldn't leave the house. I won't be missing this time.

 

I would do dangerous and dubious things to get this album in my headphones immediately

I made a playlist of the last Hot Mulligan album excluding a song because of that. I can’t handle it haha
