I never listened to them a ton, but the urgency and shrieking almost reminds me of Blood Brothers

The screaming reminds me so much of Emery. So unexpected but man what a song.

 

Hell 99 is what my parents thought I was listening to in high school like 20+ years ago.

 

Man if Emery ever had gone in a weirder darker direction I think they coulda totally pulled it off, they got stuck riding the nostalgia train. One of my favorite bands but they never came close to reaching their potential IMO!

 

I love when bands go full skramz like that, the new Ben quad song or life in drag for instance

 

I know Sophos will agree with me, but if y'all want to scratch some more of the skramz itch go listen to the new State Faults album ASAP

 

Gratitude is a perfect Foxing song and maybe my favorite on the record
