I mean do you want a meh album from them if they were heading into the studio early next year ? If they take the time to recoup and get inspired and drop a fire album I think most people will forget about the “statement”
haha they were just trying to say they don't have any tours booked and who knows when the next one will be, but definitely made me worry the way that they wrote it!
I cannot even imagine how hard it is to be in a band at foxings level right now, big enough to tour nationally but not big enough for it to feel like a stable career. And obviously that has gotten a lot harder the last few years. Hope they take as much time as they need
They just set up that amazing home studio, so hopefully that investment factors into the band's future endeavors. Long live Foxing!
Conor Murphy talks Foxing LP5, 'The Albatross' turning 10, and more On Foxing's upcoming fifth album: "I would love if this record was like [Slipknot's] Iowa meets [Sufjan Stevens'] Carrie & Lowell."
If any band can pull it off it’s them. I know they’re huge fans of nu metal it’d be great to hear them go fully heavy
Based off that demo they put out on Patreon, I definitely think the next record is going to be a wild one
I know Patreon is mostly reallllly hard to get archive content from, but does anyone know... If I were to subscribe to the Patreon, is there an easy way for me to access all past covers/demos/etc? I see mention of a discord, so maybe they are archived there? I am guessing it would be just scrolling back and downloading one by one, which is kinda annoying, but figured I would ask
