I've only been there one time, to see Japandroids a decade ago when I lived in Indiana, but that's how much it's stuck in my mind. Probably the best venue that size I've ever been to anywhere
soooo ready for a headlining set! seeing them open for manchester orchestra was great, but honestly it was a tease!
My wife is happy because me going to the LPR date with other friends means that I won't pester her to make the drive to catch Death Cab / Illuminati Hotties the same night
Not a fan of this album really but having Greet Death on the bill is one way to get me out to the show
Long Distance Conjoined Twins and Assisted Harakiri from Home is Where. I’m a little bit less familiar with Greet Death but really liked their album New Hell when I gave it a few spins way back when.
For Greet Death just listen to their album New Hell, the whole thing is worth a listen if you haven't heard it. Very similar to Cloakroom in a lot of ways but I find them to be a bit more straightforward/melodic. Their newer singles from 2021-2022 change it up a bit but are also worth giving a shot.
I was probably going to go to this anyways, but I've been wanting to catch Greet Death live. This definitely gets me there.
I caught the Patreon only Livestream of the full Smidley album earlier, and can confirm it is perfect and slaps
