The live stream was incredible. The alternative end to Speak WithThe Dead was jaw-dropping. What a fuckin band
Same. Saw on vinyl collective some one said merch now was waiting on a lot of the pre orders to arrive.
There’s such a depth of talent here, and in so many bands that have risen from the fog that was my obsession with BN. I’ve grown in my love of Foxing, Manchester Orchestra, Thrice, O’ Brother, Sinai Vessel, mewithoutYou, Jimmy Eat World, and… you get the point. But wow, Foxing hit me hard with NMG, and now this. They’re tremendously gifted musicians.
i think this album is like their black mile to the surface, to keep the manchester orchestra discussion going, in that it fully completes their evolution into a true top of the line indie rock band and not an emo band trying to become an indie rock band if that makes any sense.
Grand Paradise 'shock collared at the gates of heaven' is great but not quite the HOLY FUCK WHAT JUST HAPPENED of 737 taking off, imo
737 is louder but that lead guitar riff that hits in grand paradise at that moment makes it bigger to me i just love that shit
Wild that there are so many absolute bangers on here and yet "At Least We Found the Floor" still might be the best song
