ugh, sooo bummed. I bought a ticket to the livestream, but the replay ended over an hour ago and I never got to watch it... I hope they release it or if someone has a copy please let me know!!

Personally, I’d start with their two most recent albums (A Black Mile to the Surface & The Million Masks of God). For me, both are cohesive masterpieces and a cut above everything else they’ve put out. People are saying that the newest one from earlier this year MMOG pairs well with this new Foxing release too.

 

Nah you gotta start from the beginning. No shot you appreciate Virgin as much if the first album you hear is Black Mile.

 

My appreciation for that album is purely nostalgia but I do see what you’re saying.

 

METN is the best MO record and I will die on this hill

 

This might be the most times I've ever listened to an album in a day.

I’d say on the tour most songs will come from the two most recent albums. Those two would be most similar to Foxing as well. Black Mile is my favorite

 

I just can't get Bialystok out my head. This wasn't the album I ever expected but it's the one I needed

 

this album just isn't for me. sad to say but sincerely glad y'all are loving it, I love this band a lot

 

I’m more in on this album after the first couple of listens than I was for NMG, which I turned out to love with time.

 

million masks of god is quite obviously the best Manchester orchestra album

 

bialystok was stuck in my head allll night. it was a little annoying but my god what a song.

 

ManOrch will never outdo METN for me but Million Masks is a good competitor

 

I always start people with METN, regardless of where I think it stands in the favorite/best category.

 

Picked up my vinyl copy today. Can't get the title track out of my head. Not complaining.

 

The weather is really detracting from my ability to connect with this I think. It’s been gray, gloomy and rainy since Friday and is expected to stay that way for another 4-5 days and this album / energy does not match the visual lol.

 

Rough Trade exclusive I ordered has been delayed three weeks!
