This feels like a natural progression from NMG. I think the new one is actually more immediately accessible. "Cold Blooded" is so relatable right now (also, sweet Enya reference). I agree that this album does seem kind of like the opposite side of the same coin with Manchester's new one. This is sort of a nihilistic approach to Manchester's more hopeful outlook on death. But they're very similar in terms of subject matter and songwriting.
im guessing this sounds alot different now bc of man orchs input than it did when we were first hearing those gossip posts about new foxing music back in 2019 or 20 from their peers
Really wish I had snagged a copy of the Draw Down the Moon game that’s now sold out in their store. If anyone bought an extra or no longer wants theirs, I’d love to buy it.
It’s a perfect album. I’m sitting on my first good listen right now and I have zero qualms or questions on anything.
Yeah kinda feeling the same haha - amazon has a hot pink variant coming back into stock soon but mehhh amazon. maybe theyll restock soon or another place with have a variant.
Listened to this a couple times during my flight today, so so good love Speak With the Dead even more in the context of the album, wild it was a single lol. Also 737 is my most replayed rn
Can’t wait to see them in March. Anybody know how to rip this? Can’t figure it from the page source lol.
If you figure out how to save it, please let me know! I’m watching it now and it’s fucking incredible.
Anddddd just bought tickets to see them in October lol they’ll officially be the only band I’ve seen more than twice
