this record is fantastic. Wow. I had only listened to "go down together" maybe 3 times, and mostly didn't listen to the other rollout singles, and I am pretty thankful for that. This is so rewarding to hear in full, and incredibly enjoyable. Definitely going to be one I come back to more than Nearer My God, and that was a Top 5 record for me in '18.
Really enjoying this record after being critical of Foxing outside a few songs in the past. Bialystok is fantastic. The singles fit better in the record. Beacons is great. Not a fan of floor. Surprisingly didn't hate the screaming on 737, I usually do. Agree that speak is a single was such an odd choice.
This might be a hot take but I think the title track is actually weaker in context. I really fell in love with it when it was released a few weeks back, it works super well as a single - but coming straight after Beacons is a very tough ask for any song
This was good on first listen but didn’t hit me as hard as some other releases this year have. I’ll have to listen a bunch more today and see if anything changes/it hits me harder on subsequent listens. A few of the songs were REALLY good though.
Just so freaking happy to have an album version of Beacons after listening to the live version a ridiculous amount of times since December 2019. Absolutely loving this album.
the first few times I thought he was saying he felt 'like a 747' in 737 and that would have be a huge error
This was first time listening to Foxing but I really enjoyed this album, and Bialystock might be one of my favorite songs of the year so far. I'm gonna play this a bunch more and then go through their discog.
I am so glad I only listened to each single once. Speak with the Dead is so much better in context of the album. If I Believed in Love is so damn good.
aight fellas lets do this thing. NMG is an all timer for me, beyond stoked to go into this thing blind (deaf?)
Knew after the last 3 singles this wasn't going to match NMG for me, but pleasantly surprised by some of the new tracks. 737 slams.
Anyone going to the show tonight? Should be a cool experience judging by the music videos they've done. Moment House "Album companion" makes this a no-brainer for $10
