The whole thing is sick, but At Least We Found The Floor really got me crying in my car on the way home from my terrible job

 

this and the million masks of god in the same year is some absolutely truly #blessed shit you guys i have no idea which will be my album of the year

 

Bialystok hurts to listen to in a good way, yeah this is amazing

 

Beacons is my favorite after first listen followed closely by 737.

 

What an album.

the singles are all much better in context and yet are all worse than every song that wasn't a single. everything's fantastic though.

 

Whole album is great but the run of the last 5 songs... damn, Speak With the Dead really hitting extra hard as the closer even after hearing it a decent amount of times when it dropped

 

yeah, "speak with the dead" is the most awesome song on earth

 

releasing speak with the dead was a terrible decision

 

Somehow I listened once when it stopped and wasn’t immediately caught by it but then hearing it on the first full listen.... this one stood out to me

 

because it works perfectly as a closer but sounded weird and underwhelming as a stand alone

 

Give me an entire foxing album in connors lower register

 

Agreed. Just a terrible decision to lead with that song as the first “single”. I really love the song, it’s fantastic but still makes no sense to me. Especially when the band seems to want to gain a bigger audience, idk, maybe it was the one for the heads. But still odd marketing decision.

Damn this album is good

 

I like this way more than I expected to. On my second listen and these choruses are just insane

 

Already my favorite release of the year. Draw Down the Moon and Beacons on repeat.

 

737 and Cold Blooded... damn! The rest of the non-singles haven't quite landed with me yet but I've only had one full listen through and one where I skipped the singles. It all sounds great in context though.

Excited for my preorder to arrive!

 

I was a bit hesitant and not sure if I would like this, based on the singles. But damn, this clicked right from the start! 737 is a great opener and the screams sound really good. The first four songs are all great. Only Lightning still doesn't do a lot for me.
After that the album returns to quality. If I Believed In Love is one of the highs of a great album.

Nearer My God was my aoty and this one will (suprisingly) also be a contender!
