my favorite foxing memory is seeing them open for the hotelier and literally thinking "wow who is this, this is the best band i've ever seen live, they're going to be special"
“At Least We Found The Floor” is basically a Smidley song and that rules Also see we’re having the Crown Candy discussion again, a song that rules and is one of the best on NMG.
this is gonna make me unpopular lol but first listen didn't do much for me, SWTD as a first single and 737 as an opener just had me primed for a totally different album. I feel like I should've loved this but a lot of it left me cold will see how it ages with some time, probably really well!
I hope it grows on you, but that is a surprising take to me! I find the whole thing remarkably cohesive.
This is honestly a fair take imo. Go down together and the title track are far better representations of this than anything else
I feel like if I'd listened to every single, especially t/t and Believed I'd have had a much better idea of this album going in. but also, I hate hearing half the album before release. just ends up feeling like I'm listening to a singles comp when it comes out not an actual album experience
I'm a huge fan of Dealer and liked NMG pretty good, but I have zero expectations for this based off the 3 singles I've heard. I really hope to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow.
Man, I’m excited for the record release show next week but with all the rising cases here in MO, I genuinely don’t feel very comfortable about going at this point.
They said they’re adhering to a mask mandate last I checked but honestly, it’s the unvaccinated that worry me more than people not masking up.
I thought the mask mandate got turned down? I guess the pageant could still make their own rules but I thought the STL mandate failed. Been wondering about the show too, wish it could be vax mandatory.
