this album is going to be the one that connects. based on those tweets, and the songs already released. extremely excited now
When I first listened to this last night I wasn't a fan and was ready to say 2/3 but listened a few more times today and it's really grown on me.
as someone who didn't think I liked this band til I heard the first of the singles, this is now top of my list for albums i'm excited for
Eh. New song is not that good and kind of a mess/half-baked imo. Love the other two tracks that have been released tho so it doesn't really affect my excitement for the record
Biggest thing that draws me to Foxing is their varied sound whether by album or track by track and as the reviewer says above not being afraid to take risks...so whether the singles grab me or not I know with repeated listens I’ll find things to enjoy
The vinyl is so beautiful that it has me considering buying it even though I didn't love either of the first two released tracks. Hope I like this new one.
Well this was a pretty cool thing to hit my inbox. Definitely just ordered the Spotify neon purple variant.
so what exactly did they have MO do for them? I wouldnt ever had said that MO is a band that is “overly grandiose” at all. and thats not a bad or good thing or a dig at all. low key confused af at this statement.
I mean, like the 3 color in color variant, it's out of 300, which I thought was pretty interesting. It also doesn't look like that specific variant has sold out yet.
so many albums have this title - odd I think the last album was ambitious but just ok - other than a few songs it never clicked I love the first two so I’m hopeful this one renews my appreciation for this band
Still haven't heard any of the songs yet... I loved NMG but don't really like their other stuff, so I hope I like this! I went with the Rough Trade variant.
I've loved every Foxing release (and I'm sure I'll come to appreciate this one as well) and I think the art direction for DDTM is fucking exceptional, but I'll be honest that none of the singles have really landed with me. With that Ian Cohen tweet thread, I'm just a bit worried that the audio-whiplash that I felt with NMG is going to be turned up to 11 on DDTM.
