These guys turned in Masters the other day so wouldn't be surprised for a Fall 2024 release.

right? me too! i liked it a lot better than the ones prior to it, like it just dropped the worst year possible and i feel like a lot of people missed it.

 

Yeah sucha bummer I feel like they should have gained a lot of steam from it

I had a lot of fun with that old 90s cover album when it came out, but find it borderline unlistenable now

 

Ironic, She's So High & So Much For The Afterglow are the ones I'll occasionally go back to

 

Pretty much every day of 2020 I'd sit in the parking lot before work (a hospital lol) and would listen to "It's Cool" to pump me up before I clocked in. I've never been more "saved" by a song haha. It just gets you jacked.

 

So much air guitar from me on that song

 

That album and Tame Impala’s last one occupy a unique spot in my brain (lol) of pre-Covid 2020 albums. I took a work trip to San Francisco around that time and associate those albums with the trip. Feels like a lifetime ago. It’s Cool does indeed rule.
