Bob Fosse (Sam Rockwell) is a visionary filmmaker and one of theater’s most influential choreographers and directors. Gwen Verdon (Michelle Williams) is the greatest Broadway dancer of all time. Fosse/Verdon will tell the story of these two brilliant, complicated individuals – the love they shared, the art they created, and the price they paid in the pursuit of greatness.
I still don’t know how I feel about Rockwell in this role, but everything else looks so good and I love the subjects so much that I’m still all in.
Michelle is so great and I think Sam Rockwell is also doing a great job showing how Fosse was always a piece of shit but he got worse at hiding it, plus the whole idea of a tortured artists where we prop up terrible people if they're geniuses
