I’m gonna miss the floating island too. Recently that has been one of my favorite spots for racking up 3-5 early game kills.

 

Is nobody else having to wait like 20 minutes to just log in? Never had this issue before

i saw the event on Twitter and not gonna lie but that was pointless IMO

 

The floating island was cool. If any time was the time to introduce a new map, taking everyone into that white realm and having them enter a whole new map for the first time would have been the way to go

 

I think at this point we won’t get a new map any time soon. The competitive scene is growing and streamers tend to complain every time something is done to the map. A new map altogether would make a lot of them upset. Maybe once we see a dip in players or the full version is released.

Yeah I think you’re right unfortunately. I have no interest in playing really until something drastic is done to the map or a new map is released

 

I wish we had a second map option too. Fortnitemares made me pick it back up but now that red dead is out and overwatch is adding more stuff there is very little that can make me pick it back up as is. Big changes would go a long way towards making me play again.

Yeah that's what convinced me to finally abandon doing the challenges. Before, I'd play for fun all week, then knock the challenges out on a Saturday afternoon. But all these stage 1,2,3 ones, plus the lack of 50v50, means doing them becomes much more of a chore, and honestly not fun at all.

 

no 50 v 50 sucks so much and insert new game mode isn't very fun

 

Disco was so much better for challenges than 50s could ever be but sucked for actually playing
