Plus the balloons they just added makes building even more unimportant

 

This game was best when it was simplistic. Some of the new additions have been great (vehicles, warping) but the map is just so insanely cluttered now and there is too much going on.

 

They for sure need to strip things down. We definitely need only one vehicle

 

Get rid of explosive weapons. They’re too easy for anyone to use

 

R.E. explosives: I fucking hate the pumpkin launcher. It is far too common at the moment and really frustrating during endgame when you are building to block the zombies too, and this 25% damage change has already hit me hard. Placed 2nd or 3rd SEVEN times yesterday due to zombies or rockets each time, so I'm more than ready for Fortnitemares to be over full stop lol (the rewards for the challenges are crappy too).

Balloons are very good though imo - found myself picking them up most games and using them to travel long distances rather than building ramps to glide off of.

Amen to getting rid of explosive weapons. I’ve been team get rid of the rocket and grenade launchers since day one. I think grenades could stay if you limit the amount to like 3. When people have 9 regular and 9 clingers it gets stupid

 

Sniped a player out of the sky while they were gliding away with balloons. Wasn't enough to knock, but it sure felt great.

 

Did anyone get the 350 battlestars from the Fortnitemares Week 3 bug? Got it as a fluke. Already Tier 100

Actually idk because the fortnitemare modes are still there

 

They patched it at about 10 a.m. pacific time the morning those challenges went live.

 

finally going to play fortnite for the first time all season besides opening day

 

there is so much stuff on the main battle royale screen now wtf

 

That event was kinda cool. I’m thrilled to see a lot less water.

Looked pretty cool. The white part with the butterflies was neat

 

Better than the rocket one. I like how all gameplay was suspended and everyone got to see it

Fortnite funny has a link with a a couple of clips from ninja’s stream of the event. Looks like a new loot lake, not sure if anything else changed
