Just had a weird bug where I fell off a build about 4 stories high and when I hit the ground it did the launch pad animation but it shot me up way above the map, told me I was in the storm, and then before my health even started deteriorating it popped up and said I eliminated myself...

Also there’s a bug in 50s where you’ll randomally hear the sound it makes when you rotate a a build item but it’s a lot louder than normal. Insanely annoying..

 

was looking through the battlepass this season and it is very meh but of course I still bought it.

 

Yeah I couldn’t give less of a shit about the pets. They are adding pointless stuff. Luckily I saved v-bucks to not spend money on the battle pass ever again lol

 

Pets are only good for the John Wick/Dog combo. I thought last season’s Battle Pass was pretty weak so at least we’re not wasting tiers on basketballs and beach balls.

 

What is the hurricane looking circle that shows up on the map whenever you drop? It seems like there’s a few standard locations it shows up in but when I dropped there I saw nothing.

I do love the floating island, lots of combat going on there, easy way to rack up kills.

 

The floating island is so much fun, huge improvement to the lake which sucked

when you guys 4 squad do you land in the same spot or spread out? We got owned last night.

 

My friends and I always try to land in the same area. That way we can stick together and help each other find a weapon right away. When we spread out and one of us gets downed, it’s hard to revive them.

That honestly may be a bug. Perhaps it will move in the future, but it’s most likely the lake for this first week

 

I really wish they replace some of the places no one cares about. I know it be hard to try and balance it to where every place is somewhere interesting but man some of those places are ghost towns.

 

Wailing Woods is suddenly exciting. When I found the secret underground facility I gasped. My only gripe is that I only found one chest in there, and none in the new houses.

 

I was watching a steamer and saw him find at least 3 down there.

That's fucking amazing. I hope it's as good as it sounds. I, sadly, have retired myself from FN.

 

Was able to link my Switch account (which I've put like 80 hours into) to my PS4 account (which I played maybe once when BR first released and never touched again) so all of my battle pass progress and everything is now available on my PS4. Played a handful of matches on there and wow this game is so much better in 60FPS lol.

 

I have been saying a king of the hill mode could be fun or capture the flag so this should be chaos

 

I’m finding it impossible to login with my PS4 account on my switch.

 

Honestly I don’t even know if I have an epic games account and I’m worried I’ll lose all my PS4 progress if I mess around with it..

 

that is why I am waiting to see since I bought the battle pass on xbox and it connects to my switch account. I would love if it also connects to my PS4.

 

I dealt with the whole Epic Games account thing w/ PS4 a couple of seasons ago and it is a bit of a headache.

My situation went like this: I started playing Fortnite probably around September of last year. I had no expectations of the game and I certainly didn't expect that it would balloon into the giant that it is. As I recall, when you log into Fortnite for the first time it prompts you to make an EPIC Account with Epic Games. You can do it right then and there or you can simply decline to make one. If you declined to make one I believe it says you'll never be able to make the Epic Account directly from the game ever again. I declined thinking the game would be super casual and I wouldn't be playing all that much to warrant the account. Fast forward a couple months and I'm hooked on the game and now I wanted to have the account to access the Twitch Prime skins they released.

By declining the making of the account, the stats you compile under your gamertag are essentially tied to a ghost account affiliated with your email linked to your gamertag. In order to have these stats properly linked to a usable Epic Account everything has to be linked. Problem is you won't be able to link your GT's email to an Epic Account because it believes it already is.

You'll have to create an Epic Account on their website using an entirely different email address to successfully link your accounts. The progress won't be lost if it still is going to be the same gamertag.

In your case, first thing I would do is to Epic's website and attempt to login. If you know you've personally never made an Epic Account and it says your account has already been it's most likely because of that ghost account. Then you should create a new Epic account with a new email address and same gamertag and everything should work.

I understand Sony's allowing cross-platform linking with Fortnite now so the next step would be to link it to your Switch ID/Gamertag(not sure the lingo for it) from the "Connected Accounts" tab on Epic's website.
