they finally brought a new mode everyone asked for:

Playground LTM (v1)
The Playground LTM will load you into the Battle Royale Map with some adjusted settings.

Battle and build to your heart's content with an extended period of time to roam around the map as well as increased resource generation. All treasure chests and ammo crates will be spawned, try droppin’ in different spots and scope out the loot. Friendly fire is on so you can scrimmage with your squad (up to 4 friends per match), but fear not you’ll respawn immediately.

 

New shotguns & jetpacks mode is hilarious. I suck with shotguns though so I need to practice big time

 

Lmao, after 20 games and about 5 kills I finally got good enough to win a 2v1 - I've been jumping during every fight as most people do but been trying to aim too much rather than just let my movement essentially line the crosshairs up for me.

Been watching a few of SypherPK videos on youtube because he does these tutorial/commentaries that are great - check them out because he is phenomenal at the game, so quick at editing structures in particular.

The jet pack is ridiculous. It arguably enabled me to have my best solo game/VictoryRoyale ever with 11 kills. I’m sure some of the players I killed were livid lol

 

sucks I don't think I will be able to get fully upgraded omega. I can't see myself reaching level 80 unless I really play a lot during the end of the season.

Season 4 Week 5 Map Changes

this is so cool

 

I noticed the trees growing in Dusty Divot when dropping in yesterday, which is cool because I hated how open the crater was. It's cool about those vines growing too and the mystery of what they will turn into, but fucking with Loot Lake factories is gonna throw me off one of my main strategies! Frequently drop there for 2/3 chests then pick off people going to/from Tilted!

lucky landing is a miserable place I hate epic for this.

 

So there are mushrooms now that you can consume for 5 shield?

I like it! It's got a good amount of chests there but it's just a shame that it's too out of the way to drop into half the time. Unless there's been changes to it recently that I haven't seen yet?

 

I had a match finish near Lucky Landing 1 time in a think nearly almost 1000 matches.

 

I bought the basketball skin because I had to.

I don't think I'm going to pay for glider/axe tho.

 

I really love how there is staring to be a competitive scene even if the way it is run is absolutely the worst.

 

I cant believe how much this game has changed, and in my opinion constantly improved, in just 6 months. I cant believe that Tilted Towers, Shifty Shafts, Haunted Hills, Snobby Shores, Junk Junction, Salty Springs, Dusty Depot, Tomato Town, Lucky Landing, and Risky Reels have all been added to the map within the span of 6 months. all of the weapons, for better or worse, like the heavy shotgun, FAMAS burst, minigun, LMG, hunting rifle, etc plus the various grenades. even silly stuff like jetpacks, port-a-forts, shopping carts, apples and mushrooms that you can eat off the ground to heal/get shields, the motherfucking slurp juice, have all been added in such a short time span.

 

Is it just me or did the graphics change quite a bit in the last couple days?I play on an Xbox one x and use a 4k TV and the game looks like they cranked the HDR up a bunch

Edit: turns out it was my xbox. Gave it a restart and everything went back to looking normal

 

I don’t play this game at all by my boyfriend and brother are on mic w two tiny children right now and they led them to win some dancing quest? It was adorable.

If y’all need any pro tips or strats message @dadbolt hes got 3 whole wins under his belt!!! Keep in mind he’s very demanding and downright ornery at times but he can guide you to victory.

I am sorry I got the number wrong, I just assumed it was 3 since watching you play Fortnite is like watching poetry in motion. It’s as if I’m watching Da Vinci himself as he carefully constructs the Mona Lisa.

I’m not sure why you have elected to insult me but I guess all of the stress from being a pro Fortnite gamer is getting to you. Happens to the best of us!!!
