I LOVE HITTING A POINT BLANK SHOT CLOSE RANGE WITH A PUMP SHOTGUN AND ONLY DOING 9 DAMAGE

 

For real, have they ever tried to address the targeting issue? I swear 90% of the times I die is because the bullets don’t go where they should

 

Looks like today's update was a pretty big one between the new burst weapon, buffing the supressed smgs, nerfing traps, and new apple consumables.

Something else caught my eye as well but haven't been able to play today. Anyone played yet and can speak to this and whether it actually feels any different?

• The server tick rate has been increased from 20 to 30 updates per second.
• This allows for more responsive movement and shooting, and reduces effective ping times for all players.
• Network bandwidth has increased slightly.

 

I played for like 2 hours and I didn't even notice the Apple thing at all. I did have some instances of lag though.

 

Played one solo game before going out today and mining resources felt particulary smoother

 

I didn't really notice tbh haha. Haven't seen any apples yet either

 

I know apples are south of Tomato Town, on the other side of the tunnel

 

FFSSSSSSSS - playing no-fill duos and managed to take out 3 duos (and one straggler) after dropping in Tilted, got to top 5 with a perfect vantage point onto of a huge cliff, then came 2nd because I fucking fell off and ended up with 4 health. Would've been my best ever game had I won

 

I found some near Lucky and they gave me 2 health

 

Okay SO I have previously been playing with on controller and a macbook running windows on bootcamp for fortnite. Such a sketchy set up and have been playing controller vs mouse and keyboard which is so difficult. Got my PS4 working again and am so pumped and hopeful I will have better luck with the game. Even the graphics when I played on computer were shit and laggy.

 

the grind to get omega is gonna suck

 

So I'm not nearly good enough to think I have a shot at doing well in this but there's a new "competitive mode" as a limited game mode

Haha yeah I'm right there with you. Could still be fun to play and just see how many points you rack up compared to the really good players.

Well it's official, new Call of Duty this year will have a battle royale mode called Blackout. Apparently the map is going to feature locations, characters, guns, and vehicles (land,air, and sea) from previous Black Ops games. As someone who used to play quite a bit of Black Ops I'm actually pretty excited to try this.

Tip if you want to cheat the weapon kill challenges: You can knock someone with any weapon and then finish them with the sniper or whatever challenge you need and you'll get it

 

Got my first hate messages as a result of this game last night! Took out a squad of 4 by myself (had 1 guy with me but they downed/eliminated him) and they messaged me saying "fuk u **** noob". Just responded with a

 

Just finished a match in 2nd place. The circle got so tiny but unfortunately the other guy had the high ground and a rocket launcher

 

I finally got my first Victory Royale playing with a random squad. It was down to me and one other person and I got them trying to run away from the storm haha

I teach a class of 7th/8th graders once a week about various legal topics, and today I did an overview of family law. I ended up having to spend several minutes explaining to a bunch of disappointed teenagers that v-bucks don’t count towards paying child support

 

I really do wish they just released custom games already.
