I forgot to post about some thoughts on solo this season: I am still unsure how crazy it is that you basically get top 30 before the first circle starts to dwindle. The mid game is rough because the 2nd, 3rd and 4th circles are basically everyone waiting it out but the end game is still pretty fun around top 10. The only thing they really need to work on is getting that transition from early to mid working so more people could be alive and not a waiting fest.
Yeah mid game is rough and will continue to be for as long as you have like 40% of the players dropping at either Dusty or Tilted.
I just wanna complain about my least favorite thing about fortnite community. I've noticed it more with the "pro" streamers but people who complain about thirsting. Thirsting is basically killing a enemy team's person as soon as you down them. Streamers/Pros hate it but I love it since it feels like an advantage towards you and the community seems "indifferent" about it.
Why is that looked down upon? If you knock them down then they could still potentially recover and then fight you again. Seems like a pretty basic strategy
it's some weird thing where basically you shouldn't prioritize killing one person over aiming for the whole team but still I think just getting that quick kill followed by searching for the teammates is so much easier. sucks for them if they get picked off.
Plus there’s the assumption that they’re even near their team. If it’s a rando halfway across the map then you might as well put them out of their misery and loot them
i was just watching a streamer's video and his duo partner got "thirsted" and he got so upset and was like what a freaking loser. I just went uh huh
Do tell. So the gauntlet is just randomly placed in the map, you become Thanos (your skin changes to him I assume?) and then what? You just punch everyone to death?
You should look up the video cause its dope as fuck... but basically the Gauntlet comes down in a meteor and you have to pick it up. Then you shoot up into the sky as Thanos... its an awesome animation with voice acting. Then you shoot down and start wrecking. You have a charge jump that lets you jump like 200 feet in the air and then shoot down and punch the ground. Laser Beam from the IG. Lastly super melee. 300 shield. 700 Health. Health never comes back. Shield regens to full after every kill.
I played one game of Infinity Gauntlet and killed Thanos. Picked up the Gauntlet and died pretty easily because I was pretty ass with it
I got Thanos in my 3rd game and omg it was so much fun running around I got over 7 kils as him and I only died in late game because it was top 10 and everyone was aiming for me.
I thought i was pretty slick by deploying my glider as soon as i jumped out the bus and floating around until the IG came in. Guess I was too high up because when I followed it down I soon saw 40 other players had the same idea and were all going for it at once. I got the fuck out of there but the player who picked it up had a fucking field day with all the weaponless players nearby
I didn't realize it came so close so I grabbed a gun and was searching and it landed right next to me and I seee every player just gliding down. I had a shotgun so I had a field day.
I keep getting killed so early because there’s like 5 people wherever I land because everyone’s staying inside the circle. You gotta wait Thanos out until the competition is more slim. 5+ players with guns could probably take him down pretty easily
Can't really expect people to team up on Thanos though. I got shot in the back while fighting him several times
