1st win of the new season tonight (random squads), my 40th win overall! Played about 1000 games though so my win rate is like 4% lmao. “Damn why my so good”
Son of a bitch, hopped on for a few quick games and out of 4 games I took 2nd twice. My building and positioning isn't good enough when it gets down to only a few people left.
The new mansion right next to Lonely Lodge is fucking awesome There's a big missile silo near Snobby Shores that's really cool too
Is the latter the place that's built into the mountain that looks like a face? Dropped in there last night but didn't realise it was even there until I was too low to land at it! If not, there's also a big base in a mountain near Snobby Shores that looks like a face!
Not sure about the face, but it is in a mountain literally right across from Snobby so we're probably talking about the same place lol
Ugh, as with everyone i'm getting real frustrated with how bad I am. How many hours would everyone say they had been playing before you noticed you were getting a lot better?
I use builder pro, it helped but I’m still not amazing. Honestly I just need a set crew for squads where people kind of know how to play and it increases your chances to win by like 80%
I got two random squads wins last night - 1 kill and 0 kills. I straight suck at this game except for small periods of 3-4 days where I get a few more kills per game than usual. I think it's at a point where the good players can absolutely wipe the floor with me and there's very little I'm gonna improve on now after 1000 games. It's a testament to how good the game is that that fact doesn't necessarily diminish my enjoyment of it!
Yeah I use builder pro but building is still my weakest aspect of Fortnite. I've been playing shooters for 10+ years and the building aspect just does not come naturally to me. It's so ingrained in me if I'm getting shot at to just turn around and shoot back, not stop and build a fort and try to out-build someone. I don't know how many hours I've played because my stat is stuck at 4 hrs 58 minutes, but I've played about 250 games and to be honest it wasn't until maybe around 150 games or so before I really felt like I knew what I was doing.
I started seeing a difference after like 55+ matches. I hung out with a friend who's very good and he gave me a few tips. I've been much better since then. Especially since I started playing more aggressive and started caring about the way my guns were set up. In season 4 so far Ive played 15 games and have 2 top 10 finishes and 8 top 25 finishes. I've been averaging about 3 kills a game too. Which is ALOT better than I previously playing lol
