Yeah I was hoping they would have made some changes to tilted, but I’m sure that will be coming. Kind of seems like they might be going with a “aliens spreading from the impact sites” sort of thing, so the map could change fairly often to reflect that.

Love the Mjolnir research station at Dusty

 

My fav building in Tilted is trashed tho! The office block place with the giant wooden chair in the foyer, huge impact crater right through it! Think theres some of those purple jump things in the crater too, someone got a blue pump and one of those and took out like 4 people in the first 30 seconds of landing lol

 

My concern is after the novelty of Dusty Divot wears off, is everyone going to go back to dropping at Tilted and we're right back where we started? They've added a few new points of interest which may help with the spread but I'm not sure it's enough. Not sure what the answer is but it's kinda too bad when half the time after I finish my initial looting and look up there's only like 40 people left alive, which makes the middle rounds kinda sparse.

my PC & PS4 accounts are linked. my xbox one is separate. idk if i can have all 3 accounts linked at once? prob not lol.

however, i can't play on xbox, still, without horrific lag, something i don't experience with any other game. i'll try playing on ps4 and pc from now on and see if it's the same. either way, gotta probably contact epic because this frame rate drop gives me headaches.

I just got the llama spotted loading screen and how do you unlock that?

It just randomly popped up as I got it.

 

Me and my 8 year old nephew finished in the top 5 3 times today. Ugh.. just want a win..


I am getting better though. Went from averaging 0-1 kills to getting 4-5

 

my mom called me to the kitchen so I parked in a bush right after I did some initial loot.

It turned out the circle landed perfectly on my bush. I came back and it was top 3. 2nd place killed 3rd place and then right when 2nd place walked by me I shotgunned him for the win.

Ugh I got 2nd in my first game of season 4. Felt like I was getting some weird deaths though. Like I'd die and not even hear their gun go off. Also aiming felt a little different, like the ADS speed had been reduced or something.

We got a squad win on the first night of S4! Super happy about it

I really like the changes so far, it almost feels like a new game

 

Me and @wordzanddreamz almost had one. Our third guy and the random dude in our squad had a 2 on 1 for the win. Our party member had the guy distracted, so our random (who had a sniper) could take him down. James gets downed because of the storm, meanwhile our dumbass random decides to continue to ignore the fight completely and build a gigantic structure outside of the circle and places traps everywhere. James dies, and the random proceeds to get out maneuvered and loses the game for us

 

apologies I didn't respond last night. I fell asleep and I left my xbox on so I didn't get to read your message until the morning.

 

Got battle pass last night for the first time and preceded to play for about 5 hours. Still real far away from winning a game solo but I did have 4 kills in a game and that was huge for me! Battle pass definitely made me want to play more, big time. I suggest anyone on the fence of getting it to absolutely go for it.

 

I bought BP last season, do I have to buy it again?

Ah, bummer. It was neat, but I just don't think I play enough to get the benefits. Since FarCry 5 and GOW came out, I haven't touched it at all.

 

myself @tucah and @dadbolt had a blast playing yesterday. the changes to the map are great and Dusty Divot is waaaaaaay better than Depot, it seems to have better weapon spawns but that could just be me. Risky Reels is really neat and I love that a lot of the POIs have some kind of damage to them from the meteor. we were all cracking up last night at how Epic have all but teased that Tilted Towers would get blown off the map only for DD to get hit.

idk if i chimed in on this yet but i also love the Replay system and i love that weapon switching is much slower, all in all this game just gets better and better with each update.

 

I wish the meteor pieces were scattered all over the map because building a ramp with that boost and jumping over someone for a kill is the best dang feeling.
