Meteorites have started hitting the ground

 

The adapt part in the twitter post makes me think we're getting a brand new map

 

Unless Epic is lying they've come out and said they have no plans for a 2nd map anytime soon. If "adapt" is aimed at changes in a map, my guess is it's the current map being altered.

 

More than likely that than a new map

 

They sort of need a new map though. Just to cycle in every few matches.

Also how in the world did we all not see heroes vs villains being the theme with Avengers coming out tomorrow? I feel dumb haha.

So that's what that fucking was!!! Was camping hard in Salty Springs (sucking serious ass at this game atm, can't seem to win any fights without the element of surprise) and just heard what sounded like an airdrop then this huge bang behind me!

 

No new map? Wasn't a map set in China was teased via Twitter? Would link Tweet but have to run to class.

 

No I believe the China announcement wasn't a Chinese map it was that people in China could play Fortnite

 

I bet Batman (or more accurately an obvious knockoff) is the new John Wick skin

Also I heard somewhere that there is actually a connection with epic and DC so they might have actual rights to likenesses

twice tonight I was within 1 shot of winning no-fill duos games and both times the blue pump being so fucking slow to shoot cost me

Also ended up being one of 2 left on our team against 11 in 50vs50 and we got it down to 2 vs 3 before he got downed then I died. A day of almost's

 

So a source that said something about the signs on top of tilted and the superhero theme well before they were revealed (aka seems like they are in the know) post that the meteor will not be hitting Tilted Towers, but instead will be taking out Dusty Depot to add another area to balance out the map more. They also said the map will change weekly during season 4 and by the end of the season Moisty Mire will be gone as well.

 

That sounds cool

 

Okay I’m up for that. I was worried they were just changing one location, I like the idea of adding/changing locations weekly

 

I was so fucking close to winning my first solo game tonight (had him down to literally 10 HP) and I choked. I'm so fucking pissed lol

 

I’ve won like 5 times in two weeks and it’s pretty easy for me to last to the final 10 ‍♂️

Finally got a win after probably a 100 game barren streak - 1 shot fired, 1 hit, 1 kill, 1 win lmao.

 

Was playing squads with my friends and the final battle happened in Tilted. I shot two grenades into the air randomly and killed the last two guys

 

Just had an awesome victory

-Final three

-The other two are in constructed towers that will survive the next storm and I'm on a hill but only have a few walls up bc it wouldn't survive the storm

-Unknown to me, tower A player jumps down and gets under tower B to hide so that they wouldn't be hit from both sides by me and tower B player

-I make a run for it when the storm comes - I'm just trying to avoid tower A player because he knew where I was and was shooting at me earlier

-I get under tower B and am startled when I see tower A player there, but luckily I'm able to one-shot him with the heavy shotgun

-The storm stops so that tower B is 90% in it and isn't safe next round, and tower B player is directly above me

-I remember that I have a rocket launcher and just blast the only available platform. Tower B player, probably preparing for a rush of a shootout during the next storm, instead falls to their death.

Also got like 5 kills total which is way more than my average
