Not really fortnite related but yesterday at PAX east I went to a panel where Playerunknown and deadmau5 played PUBG with Major Nelson and they were all awful at it lol. And Fortnite seems way more fun than PUBG
Played pubg at my sister’s house today. That game is dogshit. Everything feels slightly delayed, and I feel like I’m playing a game in alpha stage. Plus the games all lasted at least half an hour. So happy most of my friends play Fortnite lol
the wiggle emote is amazing and I'm trying so hard to not turn into a whale for this game but damnit epic pls.
I do it when I have squad challenges, and I hardly ever play with anyone besides @CobraKidJon, and sometimes I just feel like playing in squads for the fun of it.
my sister has been leveling up my account and doing all the challenges so that's been pretty nice. In the few games I played today I got all 4 top 10 finishes but no wins.
As of an hour ago I have completed every available challenge. Honestly didn't think I'd be able to do it but I'm having so much fun doing it. Just unlocked the Dark Voyager today
Had a 12 kill Victory Royale with two of my friends today. 75% of my squad wins are with less than 4 people haha
I was in squad, but my team abandoned my very early, found an orange bush to hide in (are they all orange?). So I was in a good spot, storm wise, so I just sat in my bush in didn't move. Very close to the end, the storm moved smaller and I had to move. So I waited to the last minute to move, and a guy ran right past me. It was a total "Holy shit, this actually worked! Got my pump out, blasted him once (didn't kill him though), but surely my second one would hit. Sure enough, he was still with his squad of 4 and they were all behind me and lit me the F up. It was absolutely hilarious and defeating at the same time.
So the former design director for Epic Games Cliff Bleszinski is attempting a Battle Royale with his new studio. After the failure of their last game I'm not sure this is a good idea but hey what do I know. Probably PC only if I had to guess.
Yeah I agree, doesn't look good in my opinion. I'm not sure going after Fortnite is wise cause they have the cartoony Battle Royale genre on lock down right now. If anything I'd say PUBG is more susceptible. Someone like DICE (Battlefield) coming in and doing a more realistic BR would definitely scare PUBG. DICE is a seasoned studio that is light years ahead of PUBG in terms of graphics, netcode, vehicles, etc.
I would buy a DICE BR day one. PUBG done more efficiently and with destroyable environments? I’m hard
Yeah while personally I'd be way more excited for a Battlefield version, I'd be curious to see what a COD BR would look like. It's not much of a stretch from its current form to see what a Battlefield BR would look like but COD, I don't know. They've never worked with large scale players or maps and I wonder if they'd do a scaled down version. Like a 25-30 player BR on a map that's maybe 3 times the size of a bigger COD map. And maybe not start out dropping from a plane but just random spawn points?
Just won my first mobile game! I did squads to get the challenge, but it didn’t squad me up with anyone, ended up with 3 kills. Never thought I would ever win a mobile game
Nice! I don’t think I could ever see myself enjoying Fortnite On mobile despite how great the game is.
Just deleted this game from my PS4. Haven't won since my 3rd game and I've played probably played like 200 now. Infuriating.
I hate when I start to get nervous around top 10 because I start to go defensive and that wil never work then.
I've still never won a solo and only have 5 squad wins but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all
