Also unrelated, my squad was on fire tonight. Won our first game of the night (my first victory of season 3, embarrassingly) and then we each got at least 3 kills every game after that

 

Lmaooooo, just won a game of solos with ZERO kills! Dropped in at the top end of the map (Anarchy Acres), circle ends up all the way down in Lucky Landing. I run all the way down the river to avoid people because I've got a blue burst, grey tactical shotgun and a crossbow. It comes down to the big building right in the middle of LL, guy builds a big tower on it and just starts raining down hellfire with the egg launcher. I can't fire up at him so i just run around/hide, until the idiot blows up part of the building his tower was connected to, he falls down and dies!!!

 

Why I do never get games like that, wtf. Nice one!!

 

I didn’t play nearly as much of this as I wanted during spring break

 

It was the most embarrassing game I've ever played, and someone who died in the storm was spectating me and saw the whole thing - the shame! Even better was when all the people who were spectating the other guy switched over to me and i just did the take the L dance

 

Are they sending each of them an Xbox?

 

I'm having my sister play fortnite on my account because free exp that I don't have to do.

also I'm really tempted to get the rock paper scissor emote. So good.

 

Thought I would never get the crossbow kill challenge because I'm absolute trash at it but randomly had a fucking nasty kill with it today. Built a tower and someone built a ramp up to me and in a panic I spun around super quick and just nailed him in the head with it. Literally said "oh shit!" out loud when it happened lol

My only challenge left for now is the explosive kill one!

 

The guided missile is such a weak weapon. Fun to use but it does hardly any damage. Also I’ve been having an issue with hitting people directly with rockets (regular or guided) and not having any damage dealt. Does it have to hit the ground next to them?

 

I was watching my brother play last night and he was hit directly in the face with a rocket (lmao) and it killed him instantly when he was at 100 health & 50 shield, so you can def hit direct (but I've had it where I was hit direct and it seemingly did nothing to me at all so IDK!).
This game has lots of weird shit like that happen all the time though so I bet it is a bug of some sort, like when a shotgun one-shots you when you have full shield and health

why even play squads if you are just going to go to tilted by yourself

I honestly don’t understand why people play squads if they don’t actually intend on working as a squad. What is there to gain? I’m terrible 1 on 1 let’s now make it me vs an entire group, sure.

 

I’m finding myself starting at the abandoned pool a lot. I’ve been getting gold weapons non stop.

 

Explosives mode is so fun, I got 9 kills and came in third place without building a single structure lol

 

I've been having a few bad days in a row and it's brutal. I'm hoping these new challenges could help out.

 

So fucking sick of shotguns. Seems like that is all that has been spawning on map/in most chests since the update. Hopefully they fix the frequency
