Got two 3rd place finishes in solo today. I'm just good enough to usually get a couple of kills but not good enough to win. I need to get better at building and getting in better positions at the end.

 

The meteor blowing up Tilted Towers is such a awesome wormhole of theory. I def think its going to happen. There are so many cool clues and hints.

 

ether destroy tilted towers or make tilted the only place for a day

 

Whenever my friends and I play we always start with a Tilted run to get our blood pumping

 

I was thinking it would be neat if tilted was just partially destroyed or something. Like the buildings are halfway blown away and whatnot

 

The latter gets my vote - imagine 100 people all dropping in there solo mode only, would be carnage!!!

Had 4 games of squads with my brother earlier, went 1st, 2nd, 1st, 3rd - Was sniping people like crazy, 10 eliminations in those 4 games and maybe 5 more people I knocked down who got revived. Something has just clicked for me these past 2 days, shame the stats are not working that I can't check but I think I got around 40 kills yesterday and today, with 7 wins (solo + squads). My peak in this game happened today where I was against a team of 3 in squads as the last 4 left and won using just a blue burst rifle! (Sorry my posts kinda look like I'm bragging but I'm happy with my progress!)

 

my little cousin got a win in solo on my Xbox so I'm now quitting because I suck.

he only got 3 kills but STILL

there are like 7 family members in my house right now who play fortnite.

We are doing a kill challenge in tilted towers. It's fun.

 

Pump shotgun is still stupidly OP. It’s frustrating having the upper hand on somebody, peppering them with hits, and then they land one shot on you and that is it

 

Im sorry to humblebrag again but I just got back-to-back solo wins and the adrenaline/excitement is too much rn!!!

Edit: ahhh, just came 3rd in the next match when I really should have won

 

I usually only get 1 kill a match but I ended up getting 4. I think I'm only using assault rifles for now on.

 

Guys, for real. How awesome is it that this game that seems to lack in any depth other than being a BR game is going like completely viral ARG on our asses with this meteor stuff.

No, so the founder of Epic games.... The first game he ever made randomly had a blue comet destroy a city in it. That's an image from that.

 

I still like the theory of a map change for season 3 but dang the detective work right now is amazing

 

Just realized maybe I should type it all out for those who don't know.

So with the last big update a bunch of telescopes appeared around the map. Then people noticed a blue comet coming down towards the island from the sky. Then we have the Epic found evidence. Then some cool stuff came out about the map resembling the country of Poland and titled towers is right in line with a city in Poland famous for being hit by a comet. It turns out that after the guy founded epic he partnered with a company from Poland (they have since split). Other areas on the map line up such as Retail Row lining up with Warsaw which is know for its shopping district and another city that was turned into a ghost town during the war lining up with Haunted Hills. The biggest thing now is that people thought the random controller vibrations that have been happening were just that, random. However some realized they were different 1. at night 2. during the day. 3. While dropping in. 4. when in the storm. They figured out it was Morse code and it got translated to SOS D 5 418. Anyone else been hearing weird, eerie sounds when they're running through certain areas? I often drop in at that place with the big wooden chair, and when I'm running towards the river from there I hear this weird sound like its the wind, but there's something quite sinister-sounding about it (hard to explain!). Maybe that's something to do with the above too?

Edit: like these! Sounds like rocks falling and alien bleeps there but def sounded more like "eerie wind" when I heard it

 

I just saw it in game on the announcements.

 

I was wondering when I was watching my sister play why there was an influx of no skin characters hiding in top 25.

I forgot IOS is live and so that explains it all.
