the confidence I'm starting to get to do some of these moves is unreal. I'll see someone that has an assault rifle and I will literally charge them with a grey pistol and win the fire fight.

I would always avoid early on in my playtime.

Where does everyone tend to start when they play solo? I usually start at Gus. Always chests there and I don’t immediately get murdered

I’ve had a confidence boost as well, I’ve grow more comfortable with the shotgun recently, which has helped a lot.

I babysat a kid the other night who put my building to shame. He was moving so fast I couldn’t even tell what he was doing, and next thing I knew he was like 10 levels up. Meanwhile I just completed my second level lol

I drop at that building in Tilted next to the clock tower, get what I can quickly, bounce out to the hill to the southeast (usually a chest up there 90% of the time), then I clear the house between sandy and tilted. Has worked pretty well. Either that or Anarchy/Lucky Landing

i don't think you need an online subscription to play. my friend didn't renew ps+ and he was able to play online. at least for fortnite.

I try to drop everywhere because it makes it fun for me. Yesterday I did Tilted Towere, Bus Depot, Retail Row, Junk Junction, Prison and Flush Factory.

If anyone is interested, and has GroupMe, I have a group chat in there for people to squad up/chat about the game/post their clips and whatnot! In case people have trouble finding squad mates

Having an absolute nightmare with this game this past week or so - cannot win firefights to save my life, always confuse myself with the buttons when trying to switch to/from building when under fire and even when I get the drop on someone my accuracy just sucks :tear:

This game is the reason I bought a ps4 finally.

Tried it with my 8 year old nephew last week. Got destroyed my first 3 games and won my 4th. I was instantly hooked and bought a system the next day. Haven't played much because I've been playing Uncharted but I'm excited to get better.

I am SOOOOO bad at building.

they're having a bunch of issues today with the update from yesterday. A patch should be coming with no down time.

I finally had a good game yesturday dropping in at loot lake. I pick the house in front of the giant dock. Apparently no one lands there and I picked up a ton of good stuff.

I love the little details in the world.

Yesterday I was walking by anarchy acres and I saw a group of chairs and in two chairs was a puppet man and stuffed bear.

    So random.

also just wanna put my usual inventory when I go to a late game:

    First slot: assault rifle

    Second slot: tactical shotgun

Third slot: tactical sub machine gun, sniper, hunting rifle

Fourth slot: rocket launcher, impulse grenade

    Fifth slot: small shield potions.

Finally got the guided missile, made it to the final 5 people, shot said missile and got murdered while I didn’t have control of my guy. Of course.

Is it like the predator missle system in CoD modern war fare? Or is it more of a complete control type of thing?

Not sure about call of duty, but when you fire it the camera goes with the missile and has a meter that counts down like a timer, roughly 10-15 seconds before it explodes. You steer it completely with the right stick if you’re playing on PS4.

Anyone try the new Sniper Shootout mode? It’s so fun with the little tweaks they made to it (no magnums/no revives). Me and two friends got a win last night being aggressive with hunting rifles killing guys CQB.

I’ve been playing for only about a week but here’s what I’ve learned so far:

    - try and avoid tilted towers if you don’t like dying

I play squad mode with me 3 friends who are all really good, we go to tilted like 1/3rd of the time and I fucking hate it hahaha.

Hahah I know the feeling. But honestly, what i’ve learned so far is
    1) pay attention to the storm and give yourself plenty of time to get out of its way especially towards the 4th or 5th time it shrinks cause it’ll kill you faster if you’re stuck in it.
    2) don’t be afraid to go somewhere more remote to start so you can load up and ease your way into the heavy fire areas
    3) really listen closely to the sound of treasure chests, most attics have them, and sometimes they’re hidden behind walls you wouldn’t even think to look behind.
    4) try maxing out health and shield before you attempt anything dangerous
    5) try and keep half or close to half of your inventory for health
    6) practice building as much as possible, especially the 4 walls, stairs, floor, 4 walls, etc combo to build towers (I am AWFUL at this)
