God I was just so close to spending 20+ dollars on V-bucks so I could buy this god damned T-Rex costume before I realized that I’m barely willing to spend $20 on real clothes at the moment lmao
I’m fucking worthless late game lol. I’m a decent shot but I’m still a terrible builder and I freak out and freeze and die
Same. Been playing squads so I can practice building with people who can back me up/draw fire etc but it is not really going to plan lol. I can get to Top 3 easily, but 75% of the time that's by myself, and building by yourself just gives your position away to squads that usually have 3 or 4 people left, who then rush you. My last solo game a few days ago I came 2nd because the winner was in a tower about 8 stories high and all I had was a blue SMG - I just have no idea how to deal with a situation like that
bought the starter pack. It is a nice little skin and now I am up to 1750 vbucks just from battle pass and starter pack.
Lmao I landed in Salty Springs and some dude and I landed in the same house and I didn’t have a gun but he did and he knocked me out but right before he did I threw a trap on the ceiling and it knocked him out haha. Then I ended up getting 5 kills and our squad got 2nd.
I've been averaging 3-4 kills every game I don't land in tilted and I'm loving that. Some serious improvement.
I only have 3 challenges uncompleted so far until the new one this week (win a match, crossbow kill and trap kill) and I feel like I will likely never get the latter two Also does anyone else get super nervous when you see people spectating you? My play style always basically changes when there's people watching lol
on solo i’ve been getting top 10 a bit more consistently and i’ve been playing with my roommates (just found out PC and ps4 is cross compatible) and they’re worse than i am yet we still manage top 5 pretty often so i’m feeling pretty confident i’ll get a win soon!
I'm hearing a lot of chatter today that Epic said something about removing titled towers? is that true?
V 3.4 Patch Notes Discussion Megathread • r/FortNiteBR they increased the rate of launch pads nice I think it was a joke post on the subreddit on how for april fools to take away tilted towers and one of the developers just responded to it jokingly.
ok I might be crazy but it feels like my controller is constantly vibrating even more since the update??
Me and my buddies were saying the same thing. Not to mention that Solo is the only thing that works on PS4 right now.
and then they changed the mark button for the map to a zoom in and zoom out thing and I'm like ??? these changes are weird
I just finished a game of solo where I had 8 kills and I finished in second place because dude had the high ground while I had low. I'm so sad.
They definitely fucked around with some of the guns/colors, mainly the shotguns. I used a blue double barrel and grey tactical shotgun for the first time. Also the ammos boxes look brighter
Finally renewed my Xbox Live subscription yesterday after 2 months without, so jumped into this for the first time. Legit lol'd on the bus at the degree to which it's a bizarro world copy of the PUBG presentation. I'm not super in the know about how these games came about so I don't know who took major design cues from who but it was funny either way. Played two highly unsuccessful games, dying around 35th-40th left at the hands of the first person I saw. I think I prefer PUBG so far, but that could almost entirely be chalked up to my strategy being much more stealth oriented and that feeling more substantial there. It is downright comical how much smoother this plays, so I could see myself coming around.
Good reference. I was on the floor fighting this dude and I barely won so dude was just launching rockets all around me while I was trying to be cool and build up and Impulse grenade in.
Have they said anything about a new map or anything? Just wondering cause I figured the five teams of 20 was testing how people played on bigger teams to possibly develop a new map/larger game mode
