Has been great fun going down "memory lane" this past month, but I only played random squads and my fucking god the number of bots in each game was crazy. Couple games tonight it was like they were feeding my squad teams of four at set intervals, every two minutes another team would appear over the horizon shooting like stormtroopers lol

 

OG was nostalgic for a minute, but didn’t keep my interest. I’m more interested in what Fortnite has become instead of the past. For example, the new trailer for this season leaked and it looks fucking insane.

I think Fortnite is better when it keeps the simplistic route. I’ll try the new season, but sometimes they have so many gimmicky items that it loses the fun.

The new map is fine, but I strongly dislike when Fortnite adds items that allow people to just swing away from a fight. Yesterday me and some buddies played a few matches and in every match the last couple teams would just build and grapple around the map as soon as we were about to finish them off.

 

I'm a coward and play no build because I want to play a shooter

 

Movement is weird and feels kinda slow. Besides that, only other complaint is the SMG/shotgun/AR all kinda look the same at times in your inventory, but maybe I just need to get used to them since they're all new.

Really loving this map, though.

 

There have been old and new movement comparisons and the new movement is definitely slower.

The shotgun is the worst one for me, I see the barrel of the gun and I'm like yup this is an AR.

Ha same here. You can add attachments to most of the weapons now. Some make sense, some not so much

 

i usually go with extended mag or faster reload

 

This season is fantastic so far and easily my favorite in a few chapters. The map design is create with terrain feeling full and well designed. New additions with changes to the mantling, weapon mods, and health/slurp are much needed.

 

Real excited to play after work today after some time to take it all in. Can't wait to mess around more with the weapon mods.

One thing I like is that it doesn't feel too complicated, at least. COD really made weapon mods unbearable in that game.

 

I’m a gold hoarder so I won’t buy my own mods, but I’m already aware of the ones I like.

 

I’m mostly excited for this mode
