i don't know why i need gold bars but I am having fun doing the bounties whenever i get a chance

 

You can buy exotic weapons from certain characters when you accumulate enough!

 

You use them with NPCs. You can buy new weapons, upgrade your weapons(no more bench), you can hire bounty hunters (like Stark robots that follow you around), and I think that might be it?

 

I know some people will highlight nearby chests or point out other NPCs around.

 

I was/am still kind of confused about the gold when you visit an NPC. At first (I obviously wasn't reading correctly) thought I was PAYING THEM to do the bounties, but instead it's just my reward like in Warzone. When you actually go to buy something, it first shows the amount of gold you currently have in larger numbers, with the / and then the actual price smaller. It's kind of a confusing way to display it all, but I really love the idea. Bounties in this game are so much fun.

 

The bounties are very cool, especially when one is on you. Adds a whole new layer to the game. I feel like nothing happens if a bounty is on me and I evade it though. I'll need to pay closer attention to that.

 

Yeah I'm actually not sure if anything happens when you evade one. Also the hiding in the sand when a bounty is close to you is so funny.
They did a great job this season. Have to quarantine for a couple weeks so no better timing than when this released

 

Watched a couple Chapo FYM videos where they play the new season, and Tilted is back?! Combined with Salty Springs, but also in some sand?! Has the game got any less difficult over the past year because I may want to check that out (and maybe Flush Factory)

 

If anything, it's more difficult. As time goes on, the kids play more and more, and get real sweaty. But SBMM might help you.

 

Squads also seem more balanced, as well. I did hear a while back it's no long SBMM in squads, and as it might seem the case I can't officially say whether or not it is. But it's a much easier and more fun time for at least myself in squads for sure

 

I'll just stick to watching the occasional video then I think!

UNLESS - does creative a) still exist and b) have the ability to put bots into maps? Not those crappy old grey ones but moving ones (ideally at a similar level to those marauders NPCs from a couple seasons ago)? Being able to practice against 100% bots would be a good stepping stone to playing pubs again for me.

 

Creative still exists and seems to be better than ever. Not sure about the NPCs but worth a look though!

Would be nice to get back into this game on a casual basis - before I quit playing even playing team rumble was too chaotic and stressful for me to cope with, but that was down to me taking it too seriously and getting caught up in the overly-competitive zone wars/boxfights side of things despite being an extremely average player lol

 

Creative is wild. They just made an Among Us level.

Yeah this season has been my favorite in a while! Really love the idea of the exotics in the game. Think it's working really well.

Yup, the eggs have been slowly cracking since the beginning. Sounds like they can be tamed as well.

 

Really loving the new season. The crafting is so much fun

 

I hope the new season tomorrow is a big improvement over the current season

 

I've been into the primal season, and especially the crafting system.

New teasers showing a potential Ricky & Morty crossover.

 

Once they tweaked the shotguns the season went from lame to fine but I’m excited for new stuff.

my buddy got abducted by aliens last night during a game while we were in the middle of a fight lol

 

The only thing I would craft was a flame occasionally. Mostly just used the standard ARs and pump/tact shotguns
