A lot of people saying the first game will be almost all bots (if not 100%) if you go straight into the game after the cinematic trailer thing - really hope I can actually win the match and not get clapped by them lmao, that umbrella looks nice.
Played for 5.5 hours earlier. Honestly in awe with how great they did. I really wan't expecting anything like this, but they did it.
Lmao, got one-tapped in the head with a burst rifle by the first opponent/bot I saw, then the game froze in the menu just after. Not a good start!
People are saying the first game after the update is only against bots, but is it possible to just repeatedly only play against bots? I think that might convince me to start playing again, almost like an arena mode you'd get in old platforming games, or just treating it like a level in a normal game.
First time I've played in literally like a year and if the first match that they launch you right into after the cutscene is all bots then I'm fucked, I died to the first one I saw lol
Same lmao. The videos people put up of the bots they face that are just shockingly bad yet i'm getting expertly sniped from 250m by the ones I go up against . My best days are well and truly behind me!
Is anyone else concerned about this mech looking nutcracker skin in one of the loading screens this season or am I alone?
First solo win in the bag, finally. Still struggling quite a bit though; saw more of the useless bots yesterday and racked up more kills but no wins, won my first game of the day today but back to getting clapped every game since while seeing very few bots. Wish I had an idea of how the SBMM is supposed to work.
No idea what is happening but I think maybe I’m getting 75% bot matches. I have 7 wins in 13 matches with 33 kills tonight.
I love them and think they are a great addition to the game (their little endgame 1x1's with the roof and a window they snipe out of are so funny), but a bit more explanation from Epic on how they work/level with you would be appreciated. Solos are actually fun again though; the majority of my deaths occur due to my own stupidity now rather than crap like OP weapons/vehicles, then the option to immediately queue again means far less stress. If they add launchpads solos would be in a near-perfect state imo.
okay maybe I'm stupid but I played a few rounds on PC and I didn't see the button to queue again? also can we still open the glider when we jump from somewhere high? i.e. the lighthouse?
Can only speak for PS4, but I think the option is called something like 'Ready Up', which should pop up with 'Spectate' and 'Return to Lobby' on the right-hand side of the screen when you get eliminated. And only in team rumble mode can you use your glider again when jumping off high points! Source: I fell off the lighthouse lol
Lol my buddy found out you can see how many bots are in your game by looking at the pre game lobby player count before you load the bus and after. Apparently all of our games were 50-60% bots last night. it was kinda cool getting easy multiple kill wins all night but it doesn’t feel as fulfilling almost kinda annoying when you’re looting up or on a long rotation and all of a sudden you’ve gotta chase a bot down. I like the direction they’re heading in though... gotta start somewhere
Anyone found the "Mythic" item that is in the game yet? Apparently it is a special fish that is a throwable and does 100 body / 200 head damage, only obtainable by fishing with the fishing rod! Took a guy 1500 tries in playground to get it (lol), but a few people have got it by pure luck in the standard modes.
