Zombies seem easier to kill and they give better loot than the Fortnitemares zombies, plus they give some shield now too. Still awful and can't wait until they're gone but better than they were last time at least. Looks like the event lasts 9 days
These ice storm challenges are equally boring and frustrating. Frustrating because players always kill me from behind when i'm killing monsters
I was grinding zombies for the challenge and had someone kill me the instant before they got smashed by a brute. It felt amazing. If I see someone battling the zombies I leave them alone for the most part. Or if the circle is small enough maybe I'll hit them once and if they don't engage or just build a small fort to hide then I move on. No one is taking them on for funsies, it's just for these boring ass challenges
The rewards seem like they suck too impo - I usually have a compulsive need to do any and all challenges that come up on this game, but I've been playing creative more than the regular modes recently so I don't think I will bother with these ice storm ones.
This is the reason I stopped playing the game all together. Became an obsession and neglected so many other great games, so I uninstalled it. Haven't played since end of S5.
I just stopped buying the battlepass. I always had enough v bucks earnt to pay for it, so never had to put money into the game, but it was because the challenges are so annoying and so grindy. I've got all the skins I really care about, so now I just play for fun with mates. Much prefer it .

Get rocket launcher out of the game man - played a handful of solos tonight and was killed by one FIVE times, everybody had one?! Plus I was literally teamed by two guys riding around in a quadcrusher in one of the games, fucking hate this shit sometimes!
Yeah, couldn't believe it - Both jumped off the quad crasher, killed me, then jumped back on and drove away. They were doing that annoying crying emote after they killed me to rub salt in the wound too
I didn't, no I legitimately ragequit at that point and turned my PS4 off. Will go and check the replay and find both of them - can I report from outside the actual games?
It says my family played a total of 455 hours of fortnite last year on PS4 which is pretty wild. It was 3 people playing on the PS4.
On 99 myself, gotta put RE2 down for a bit and get to 100 over the next day or two. Not sure I will buy any more battle passes though tbh, frequently getting my ass kicked every game has started to test my patience and I'm playing much less these days. That and I already regret how much money I've spent on this game lol.
