I remember when Rou from Enter Shikari ripped them a new one after the original homophobic comments.

 

This is great news. as a queer person this band has made me feel suuuuuper uncomfortable and I'm glad their hate speech is over, at least in a public way.

 

And nothing of great significance was lost.

Certainly not unexpected either.

 

How anyone can take someone who says Homosexual Agenda with a straight-face seriously is beyond me.

Always reminds me of a set I saw from a comedian named Dara O'Briain, who talked about how he received a letter once from a nutjob warning him about the "international gay mafia".

 

Funny that I don't see as many people moan and cry when atheist band members preach their beliefs on stage. It's like people just choose to ignore what the band is saying. It's not that hard.

 

Disliking religion and being homophobic are not the same thing at all. Please don't try and equate them.

Maybe because ignoring it hasn't worked in the history of ever. No matter how much you ignore people like Mattie, they don't stop. It's also hard to ignore what someone is saying when they're marginalizing your friends and family, all in the name (and protection) of their lord.
