They way they ended it with Margo makes me think she might be done as a full time series regular. Like I think we will see her again, but on a guest or reoccurring status.
That’s what I think they should do with all of the original main cast, but who knows if the actors would be willing to stay on in reduced roles like that.
Instead of listing down all my thoughts, I think it’s just easier to say I absolutely love this show. God it’s so good. Hopefully season 5 is finished a but faster.
It was killing me where I have heard Midnight City before and then I realized it's on the pop station in GTA V.
That I remember hearing it. I am sure it has been on commercials and stuff like that. 2010-2016 was an absolute blur to me tbh
So I just found out these are a thing. I was wondering what happened to Jimmy! Anyone else know these existed? Leap Into a New Millenium: 1996-2001
This really IS a prequel to The Expanse hahahaha. Fantastic finale. The Margot hug def got me. The whole NK/riot scene was tense as fuck. Bring on the next season!
Killer finale. I'm glad they didn't kill off Dani or Ed. I've always loved Dani and Ed dying would've been devastating for Kelly and the kid. Massey MVP for sure like someone mentioned.
Yeah I watched this before the season started. It also gives some clues to the future too. Like "JFK Jr elected to US Senate" tells me JFK Jr is probably going to be POTUS in an upcoming season .
Just popping in here because I know there has been some talk of the book Red Mars in here, first off thoroughly enjoyed the first in the series and about a 1/4 through the second one (Green Mars). Not sure if it was ever confirmed that book had any inspiration for the writing team on the show but can totally see some of the similar plot lines. Wonder if we will see any of the bigger ideas of the terraforming Mars and everything that comes from it like they do in the books or will we have a jump to a different planet? Worth reading if you are into this show at all. Wonder if they will ever do a show based on the books.
Officially renewed for S5, and we're getting a spin-off focusing on the Soviet space program. For All Mankind Renewed for Season 5 as Apple Orders Soviet Spinoff
They have been struggling to try to get it adapted to TV for over 25 years. First in the late 90's James Cameron and his ex-wife owned the rights and were planning on turning into a miniseries for the Sci-Fi network. Then in the late 2000's AMC was developing it into a miniseries. Then in the mid 2010's Paramount got the rights and was going to turn it into a series for the now defunct Spike Network. None of them materialized
Happy about the renewal. Not sure how interested I am in a Star City show, but if it's the same creative team I'll certainly give it a shot.
Finally had a good chunk of solo time to myself the last month so I got to binge all four seasons. Its a weird show because its such a slow burn at times, where nothing happens...and I'll say about half of the characters aren't really that compelling... but it's still a quality show overall. It's extremely grounded for this type of premise and I applaud them for it. They never go zany with the alternative timeline stuff. Production levels are top notch and it's definitely premium television. But... I definitely thought season 4 was the most boring and least compelling. Way too much time on the unionizing stuff in my opinion.. Season 2 was obviously the top tier season.
Idk if slow burn is the wrong term but I mean there's really long stretches of time where nothing impactful storywise is happening. Its a show that's 60% character work (family drama, inner conflicts, parenting), 40% plot on most episodes.
