Cucumber Collins Recipe
Ingredients:
2 oz Hendricks Gin
1 oz Ginger Liquor
1/2 Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Splash of OJ
2 oz Ginger ale
4 Cucumber Slices

Directions:
Muddle cucumber with simple syrup. Add ice, gin, ginger liquor, lime juice. Shake well and strain over ice. Top with ginger ale, finish with OJ.

 

I prefer Hendricks in my martinis and Bluecoat in my G&Ts, but Tanqueray is always an excellent choice.

 

I have never drunk (drank?) gin and not embarrassed the fuck out of myself. I don't drink it very much for those reasons.

 

You definitely can't skimp on gin and get bottom shelf stuff. It will send you reeling.

 

I always thought that Gordon's makes a nice gin for a great price.

 

My 1st sip of alcohol was Mr. Bostons vodka which is like paint thinner. The first time I got drunk was Absolut Vodka.

The last time I drank vladimir, I threw up in my own bed.

 

mine was Bernetts. Fucking disgusting stuff. Usually it was warm too cause we couldn't put it in my friends moms freezer/fridge cause she'd see it

 

For $11 bucks you can't get anything better than Burnett's though.

 

For some reason I had a bottle of wild turkey when I was 17. Took me months to finish it, awful.

 

And for less than $11 you can't get...much of anything hahah

We did "Pink Panty Pulldowns" in high school. I took a sip and automatically vomited. I can't even look at pink lemonade without wanting to barf.

 

I think the best option is to get up 2 or 3 more bucks and get smirnoff... which is way better than other vodkas priced in that range until you get to Tito's, Stoli, etc.

 

lol There are worse. I could stomach Evan Williams and Early Times, never turkey.

Yeah I just didn't know options at the time cause i wasn't allowed to go into the store...so I just told the guy "get me the cheapest vodka". Eventually he just told me I should get Smirnoff haha

Yeah, it's pretty nasty. I'd rather have other cheap bourbons or even Canadian whiskey. Canadian Club is always such a good deal.

 

Yeah, I've tried lots of brands of vodka. Grey Goose, etc. and Smirnoff Triple Distilled or whatever with the blue label is best to me out of most brands.

 

How have I never tried that haha

 

I could get a 750ml of Early Times for $12.

That was my trash go-to.

 

Jameson and Canadian Club are my favorites but I will literally be dying the rest of the week with a hangover. Too old.

It really does compete well with the high end liquors. Whenever I see someone buying pinnacle or something just a few bucks more, I can't help but think they're wasting their money. I think the Goose is highly overrated. Would much rather have Ketel, Belvedere, Tito's, or Stoli.
