I know people love my stress baking but for the most part it tastes good but looks janky as fuck. So I'm working on presentation. I'm going to roll the cookie dough out today and use a glass as kind of a cookie cutter. Thoughts or tips?

 

The place I got my calzone yesterday was good and reasonably priced, I don't know why I've just been getting Dominos all this time

 

For anyone in or near Charlotte, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus or Cincy, I highly recommend checking out Bakersfield if you're in the mood for some Mexican street fare. Just went to the Cleveland one for the first time (which I think is the newest locale) and was very impressed. Everything tasted so dang fresh.

 

Do you rip pieces off or do you chocolate bar it?

 

Going to the store to pick up poptarts rn. Buttered toast is one of my favourite foods. I am expecting great things

the only one I can think of is probably snickers. but even then I might. Twix & KitKat are my other go-to's and those i'll break up.

 

Got some lamb rack to cook up for mother's day tomorrow. Probably gonna sous vide it with some duck fat, rosemary, shallots and mint. Making a mango and apple jam to go with it.

 

yeah, biting into a kit-kat directly is sacrilege. i break up granola bars and stuff, but i feel like a twix is too small and fragile to break up. i don't know, it's been a while

 

God I'd love to see a picture of the final product of this, sounds incredible.
